Lead with the manufacturing team to establish a manufacturing plant and hire and develop a manufacturing team
Along with the organizations’ growth, responsibilities will include the leadership and motivation of the manufacturing team to achieve company goals by clearly defining responsibilities to team members around near-term priorities as well as longer-term visions and strategies
Responsible for achieving the production & invoicing targets within set norms of “on time” delivery, quality standards, cost budgets and Safe working.
Develop the operating budget for the unit.
Responsible for smooth functioning of plant & machinery.
Set targets for improvements and review the progress.
Maintain cordial relations with the workmen, union representatives and all employees.
Key Requirements:
University Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
Minimum 12-15 years of experience in manufacturing of medium heavy industrial products,esp. in fabrication industry like chiller, Boilers, heat exchange ect.
Minimum 2 years of experience in setting up and running a manufacturing unit in China.
Strong background in manufacturing management, particularly in fabrication, heavy engineering, wielding and pressure equipment industry
Proven history of knowledge and understanding of the Chinese labor laws
Experience with latest manufacturing and quality systems, like ISO9000, ISO14001, 6sigma & 5S.
Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process and relevant codes.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
