Job Description
Position Summary:
Directly report to General Manager; support for start-up and construction of the facility; responsible for all Quality and Testing Department activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Start and build Quality and Testing team
§ Develop and implement a system and procedures for the Quality, process quality and Testing department
§ Support business registration
§ Set up TS16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 system
§ Support facility design and construction of facility
§ Support the General Manager to achieve the company’s goals and objectives
§ Provide vision and leadership for the future growth of the department
§ Inspire and motivate the team to be innovative
§ Overall control and management of the Quality and Testing team
§ Interface with Human Resources to establish:
§ Minimum hiring requirements for the Quality team
§ Consistent on-going training and career planning
§ Salary planning and incentive programs
§ Train and develop the Quality and Testing team to be technical leaders in their own field
§ Support sales and marketing activities through development of an integral Quality strategy that is aligned to the business model for the Asia sales/growth revenue plan
§ Utilizes resources effectively and efficiently to meet or exceed company goals
§ Share best practices between Europe and USA. Rotate resources and develop consistent processes
§ Develop local strategies with global perspective
§ Develop plans to meet production strategies with Manufacturing, Material and Finance departments
§ Develop and enforce high Quality standards and practices
§ Establish program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production measurements
§ Inspecting, testing and evaluation of company and customer products
§ Validating inspection processes
§ Provide timely documentation
§ Monitor suppliers to guarantee only products of the highest quality are produced
§ Oversees and manages customer audits, third party regulatory supplier audits and/or internal audit systems
§ Ensure that government regulatory compliance and OEM specification is met and exceeded
§ Maintains knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements and ensures compliance
§ Maintains knowledge of domestic and international OEM specifications and requirements and ensures compliance
§ Promotes awareness of customer's specification and international requirements throughout company
§ Lead CFT team to address quality concerns

Education:
· University degree/business oriented
· MBA preferred.
Experience Required:
l Minimum 6 years of experience and 2 years of management experience, preferably in automotive occupant safety restraints systems
l Knowledge of government regulatory compliance
l Knowledge of OEM specifications and requirements
l Knowledge of Auto-CAD
l Asia automotive knowledge base critical to the success of the position
